iDateBook Tutorial
Welcome to the iDateBook Tutorial
This Guide will assist you in:
1. Purchasing iDatebook by downloading it to your mobile phone
2. Registering and logging into your iDatebook web account, and downloading your sync software
3. Logging into iDatebook on your mobile phone
4. Functions of iDatebook on your mobile phone
5. Other Helpful hints: What to do if you change your phone or your PC, why iDatebook doesn't interface with your phone's built in calendar and more!
Note:
Some older phones don't have the same options for iDatebook as the currently available phones. To see what version your phone is, please see our supported phones page. If it's a 1.0 phone, please download the following .pdf document:
iDatebook 1.0 (Phones that do not cache)
What is cache? Current versions of iDatebook cache about six weeks of calendar data in the iDatebook calendar within the memory of the phone itself, so you do not need to make a data call to your web account to pull down the day's events each time you go into iDatebook. This saves time (and money, since you are not using airtime to view cached data). You also need to remember to get in the habit of refreshing the calendar in 2.0 if you know events have been updated on your PC.
Ready? Let's go!
